What happens when you don't believe in ghosts, but become one?

 Killed in the line of duty, she finds herself recruited into a group that monitors haunted sites, making sure the spirits don't give too much away to the living. All seems to be going well until a group of cultists unleash a chaos demon in a haunted asylum. Being a detective and the drive to help others didn't stop with her pulse.

Having died in the line of duty, Detective Cadence Riley has been recruited to help police haunted locations so that the spirits don't give too much away to the living. She and her partner have also helped protect the living from non-human evil spirits. All is going according to procedure until someone alive appears before her.

Barrington Prison is no place for the living. When ghost hunters film a reality show in the prison, Snow and Cadence must make sure the ghosts behave and follow the rules. Elsewhere, the spoiled ghost of a young southern belle begins harassing a family. As both the living and dead teams divide and conquer, Cadence and Snow wonder if this all just a coincidence. Or has something more nefarious been set into motion?

The Dead Show’s investigation at the haunted prison causes shockwaves that affect both the living and the dead. Amid the fallout, Derrick has a chance encounter with an old professor that leads to an investigation at the local haunt Scarecrow Farms.
